If you've lived with unresolved trauma or lived in survival mode for years, part of your recovery journey may include replenishing what trauma depleted. You may find that you'd like to try practicing a wellness routine to help you maintain mental health and support trauma healing. I invite you to practice daily self-care that is attuned to your unique needs and supportive of your trauma-affected nervous system. I made a guide if you’d like some inspo.
Hi, thank you so much for being here. I live recovery day in and day out just like you.
I'm a trained trauma recovery coach (IAOTRC) and certified peer recovery specialist specializing in women’s wellness for mental health and complex trauma. Currently in mental health coach training with Headspace Training Institute, an approved training for NBHWC, the national board of health & wellness coaching.
I've spent almost two decades learning how to maintain recovery from major depression. I went to one of my root causes - the impact of multiple ongoing early trauma (including child sexual abuse) - and learned that knowing the basics of how my body works, how it was impacted by trauma, and how to support healing are key to my long-term recovery.
TIP: I invite you to practice daily wellness and self-care that is attuned to your needs and supportive of your trauma-affected nervous system.
